Some
of my personal favorites among the many fine places to stay in Hawaii. Hawaii gives vacationers
a huge choice of cabins, cottages, vacation rentals and hotels.
Here are some of my personal favorites. The accommodations described
below are not paid advertisers. These are independent
reviews of Hawaii hotels, Bed and Breakfasts and other alternatives.
Most of the descriptions are taken from their web sites and verified
by me. It has always surprised me that B&B's in Hawaii are
a great deal. I will feature a variety of accommodations for you,
changing frequently.

Guest Cottage,
Real comfort, right at sunny Poipu.
This is my latest favorite. These folks have thought
of everything you might need and put it into this vacation rental.
Very clean, very convenient and very close to all that Poipu
and Koloa have to offer. Check out the great rates for this
4 room cottage. A terrific place
for a group of friends or your whole family.

Vacation Rentals Haena, Kauai
This is my absolute favorite, real bargain, great for
people who love the outdoors, but want to come home to a clean
comfortable home away from home. Run by fine folks and near
some of the North Shore's best beaches. Also close to Kalalau
trail head and an easy drive to Hanalei. I fell in love all
over again at Divers Vacation Rentals.

I would like to emphasize again that B&B's are a
wonderful option in Hawaii. If you would like to stay in a B&B,
there a few things you need to know. First, B&B's are usually
small operations and you are personally cared for by the owner/operator.
You need to secure reservations as much ahead of time as possible.
State health department regulations do not allow B&B's to
operate as full restaurants, so they can only provide you with
"snack" foods. The bed and breakfast operators know
about all the good places to eat nearby and will be happy to
give you some first hand tips.

Timeshares in quiet Maui. This resort is a beach lover's delight. Ocean front with a 3.5 acre pool. Each villa includes a spa tub and private lanai. There are both timeshare rentals and resales currently available at the Maui Ocean Club. Also there are many other timeshare resorts in Hawaii that will fulfill your dreams. This is a cost-effective way to get first-class lodging for affordable pricing and explore the beauty that the islands have to offer.
